Sadie

Sadie is interested in how money, policy, and place fit together. Her international relations coursework taught her how to think about the big picture. Her business and entrepreneurship work gave her practical tools. Real estate is where she wants to put both to use.

Her main interest is multifamily housing: buying it, running it, and figuring out how a mid sized property can stay financially healthy while still being a good place to live. She is looking for a role where she can learn the numbers side from people who have actually done the work.

She spent several years at a childcare, gymnastics, and after school program. It was the same organization the whole time, from high school into college. The length of that run is the part worth paying attention to.

The job meant building schedules, following safety rules, and working out problems with both kids and parents. Families trusted her with their children week after week, and she was given more responsibility each year.

It is not a finance internship. It does show that she shows up, stays, and earns more trust over time.

• A full academic year abroad in a country where English is not the main language. She lived there, studied there, and handled daily life in a second language.
• An extended stay in North Carolina for work and coursework.

She set up both moves herself. New city, new housing, new coworkers, and no one she already knew. She is comfortable relocating for the right opportunity.

Four years of high school lacrosse. Early practices, a schedule she did not set, and a role where her own performance was judged by how well the whole team did. She brings that same approach to work.
